HKDA Music Fest 2026
This is our 3rd Music Fest, and we are so excited you're here!
This year, we had over 70 auditions. 50 incredible performers made it to the stage today (25 per show). Solos, Duos, or bands.
Tonight you'll see something really special.
Students who just picked up the drumsticks for the first time. Students who are singing on stage for the first time. Students who've been playing for years. Adults in their 50s and 60s proving that it is NEVER too late to start. Siblings performing together. Friends or classmates sharing the stage. Parents and children making music side by side.
Music has no age. Music has no borders. And tonight, that's exactly what you'll see.
You'll also see students who aren't just playing drums. Some are singing. Some are playing guitar alongside drums for the very first time. Some parents are singing while their child plays on stage. This is what music can do: it brings people together in the most beautiful ways.
Every performance took courage. Every performer put in real hours of real work to be here tonight.
So please, cheer LOUD. Clap often. Your energy lifts every single performer on that stage.
We also invite you to stay for the entire showcase and support every performer, just as we would hope others would support yours.
Sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and let's make some wonderful memories together. ๐ถ

Hey everyone!
The performers are the real stars today, so I'll keep this short.
When I started HKDA, my dream was simple: give people a place to fall in love with music. Not just learn notes. Not just pass exams. But to actually FEEL something when they play.
Today? You're going to see exactly that.
First-timers stepping up with everything they've got. Adults finally saying "it's my time." A parent and child sharing the same stage. Someone playing drums AND guitar in the same performance.
Music changed my life. And I'm so happy we get to gather here because of it.
HKDA has always been about more than drums. It's about connection, confidence, and the joy music brings to all of us, at every age, every level.
Watching this community grow makes me incredibly happy.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for being part of this.
Now let's stop reading and START THE SHOW! ๐ฅ๐ถ
HAVE FUN AND ENJOY EVERY MOMENT!
Cheers,
Ms. Jaedyn
